What to expect

If you’ve never been to a financial planner before, it might feel a bit daunting.

After all, not many people feel okay talking about money with someone they’ve just met.

So take a deep breath and trust the process.

There’s no judgement. There’s no big stick. There’s no rice and beans in your future.

It’s just you and me having a conversation.

We’ll ask each other questions. We’ll get to know one another.

We’ll talk about where you are now and where you want to be…what you really want from life.

Only then, can we figure out what needs to happen, money-wise.

How we'll work together

1. Dreams and details

First up, we’ll talk about your wants and needs, dreams and desires.

We’ll also get into the nitty gritty of what you earn, spend, own and owe.

2. Path and plan

Then, I’ll create your plan, using all the things we’ve talked about so far.

No two plans are the same, and this is where we get creative about getting you (and your money) to where you want to be.

3. Delegate and Do

This is go time.

I’ll put your plan into action and get the ball rolling on changes to your bank accounts, mortgage, super, investments and insurance. I’m a bit like your money concierge.

4. Progress and Party

Now your plan's in action, you’ll start to see the results of making changes to your money decisions, habits and behaviour. Progress and momentum is exciting. Time to celebrate!

5. Track and Tweak

Real life doesn’t stay constant, and neither will your plan.

Unexpected things happen, and sometimes you just change your mind. Not to worry. We’ll have a chat and make some tweaks to your plan, and help you keep moving forward.
